What Do You Know About Epaphroditus?

Don’t feel bad if you know very little about a man named Epaphroditus.  Though he appears in the New Testament, he’s not well known like Paul or even Timothy.

Still, though, what Paul tells us about him tells us much about the kind of person we should be.

And it tells us a lot about the church as well.

Listen in!

Free Concert!

We’ve called it a Senior Adult Concert, but you don’t have to have grey hair (or no hair) or an AARP card to enjoy good Christian quartet music.  No one will check your ID!

And it’s free, though we will take a love offering.

Afterwards, join us for a meal ($5 donation) in the lower  level.

The concert is this Thursday, April 18, at 11:00 am in our worship center. Everyone of any age is welcome!

There are a thousand things to get mad about in today’s world, and the almost instantaneous and twenty-four news cycles and onslaughts of social media throw these things in our face constantly.  If we’re not careful and prayerful, these controversies ignite anger, division, and broken relationships in the church.  And they harm God’s work.  Read more on Pastor Jack’s blog.

Changing Her World!

Crystal Ayala is a junior at Desert Edge High School. Many of you know her from her work in the preschool and her ability to rock out on the piano! What you may not know about Crystal is the challenge that she accepted from God.

Crystal felt God calling her to start a bible study club on the campus of her High School. So she did. Crystal went through all the processes of putting a club together, needing to meet with the Principal and getting a sponsor teacher. She was meet with the challenge of finding officers to fill the roles that a club needs, which, when it’s just you, is hard. Crystal met that challenge head on. Just before spring break she had taken care of everything that needed to be done and planned the first meeting for the Monday after spring break.

In the three weeks that they have met, they have not had less then 20 students! When God Calls, Answer! Please be in Prayer for Crystal as she follows Jesus!
