"Sympathy is no Substitute for Action"

When I’m home and can’t do much except recover from surgery, I do a lot of reading.  It distracts me from uncommfortable physical issues–and from more losses by my favorite football teams.

In reading this week, I was reminded of a quotation that has meant a lot to me from doctor, missionary, and explorer David Livingstone.  It’s perfectly in line with what the Bible teaches.  Think about it!

Guest Blog by Tina Giles

Abortion is clearly an important issue in the upcoming election.  There are loud arguments on every side of the topic and an abundant of articles, blogs, and commercials talking about unborn babies.

What about the moms?

Our worship leader and mother of three boys speaks from her own experience in explaining, “God loves moms, too.”

Read her thoughts in a guest blog at abcaz.net/blog.

ABC Kids Choir

Our Kids Choir got to help lead us in worship on Sunday!

As part of our Wednesday night program, our children are working on a variety of things. They’re preparing to be a part of our Christmas Concert, memorizing scripture, learning worship songs, and working on a play about the life of David that they will present in the Spring. We’d love to have your kiddos (K-6) join us!
