Giving and expenses haven’t quite matched up this year.  We spent more than we took in.  We’re not in a crisis, for  we have always kept a fair amount of reserves.  But it is definitely something to pray about!  There are reasons for the challenging year.  Numerical growth in attendance hasn’t been as good as we hoped.  Inflation increase some of our expenses dramatically.  We raised a large amount of money for remodeling, which may have lessened the amount given to our general fund.  And a mediocre economy may have kept people from giving as much as they wanted or hoped to give. But regardless of the cause, here are the things we’re asking our members to do:

1.  Pray that God will provide for all of our needs.

2.  Give a tithe to our general fund which funds our major ministries.  It can be given in the offering boxes or given online using the “giving” link on our webpage.  

3.  Give an additional gift when God blesses you.
