A "Christian" Christmas

Christmas is a Christian holiday.  It’s name means “A Celebration of Christ.”  Unfortunately, the Christian part is ignored or even forgotten.  Christmas for most people is just a fun winter celebration and a break from everyday life.

There’s nothing wrong with a winter celebration.  Trees.  Lights.  Mythical creatures.  Presents.  Tamales.  Cookies.  These are fun.  But how does a Christian celebrate the birth of Jesus?  Listen to my devotional for some ideas!

Movie Suggestions

There are many “Christmas Classic” movies that people watch every year.  Here are two I think you might enjoy:

The Nativity Story is maybe the best of the movies that tell the story of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus.  It was released in 2006.  (We showd it at our church several years back!)

The Fourth Wise Man is an unusual (and little known) movie that tells a fictional story of a wise man.  It has many Biblical allusions and was released in 1985.
