We take seriously the Biblical command to Love People, and we don’t just love with words. We put our love into action in dozens of ways.
Our love is not just aimed at our own members. We are a vital part of our community, sharing God’s love with anyone, whether they share our faith and values or not. That’s how we see the love of God. It includes everyone!
Here are a few of our many community ministries!
WHICH ONES WILL YOU GET INVOLVED WITH?
About 150 children and teens (in grades K – 12) participate in our basketball ministry in two seasons each year, beginning in January and September. Everyone is welcome, and the cost is only $25 per season.
Brown Bags
This ministry gives a brown bag lunch to anyone who is hungry. The teams accepts donations, purchases food, and puts bags together. We give out bags during office hours. See more in our community section..
Food Distribution
We also partner with St. Mary’s Food Bank and Westside Head Start to give free food baskets on the first Wednesday of each month, from 8:00 to 10:00 am in our west parking lot! .
With this ministry, our community expands into the Caribbean! We partner with Deliverance Baptist Church on the island of Dominica. We send supplies and go on occasional trips to build homes and do evangelism.
IHElP (Homeless)
We operate a homeless shelter in partnership with other churches. Volunteers assist guests and provide meals. Find our more in our community section.
Mission of Mercy
We provide free medical care and medicines to those without insurance and the underinsured every Monday. See more in our community section!
Seasonal Ministries
We offer a variety of seasonal events at Christmas, Easter, and in the Fall that are designed to share God’s love with people in our community!.
Project Connect
We host a one day outreach each year. We provided meals and help in conjunction with the United Way. We will resume this next year.
