Faith and Generosity at the Auto Dealer

Its rewarding to see Christianity at work at church, but its even more rewarding to see it in a business. Did you read about the retiring auto dealer?

Howard Cooper of Ann Arbor, Michigan, did more than just say goodbye to his employees when he sold his dealership and retired. First, he wrote into the sales contract that the new owner would retain his employees. Then, he decided to give away $1,000 to each of his 89 employees for every year they worked for the company.

One employee worked for the company for 46 years and received a $46,000 bonus. The parts van driver received $28,000. All 89 employees received a check.

Faith and generosity are to be practiced at church. They are also and especially supposed to be practiced at work!
