You and I will be on both sides of this Equation

Love is maybe the most talked about and sung about theme in the world.  It’s what I say about our church in nearly every devotional and every sermon, “We love God.  We love people.  And we follow Jesus.”

But at least in the world, it is talked about more than it is practiced.  How do we show love in a church setting?

Dominica Update

We have had a long-term mission partnership with Deliverance Baptist Church on the Island of Dominica.  Due to building codes on the Island, we will no longer be building homes on the Island.

Instead, we sent the remaining money to the Island for finishing a home for their long-term secretary and for additional building projects for the church.  This enabled the church to finish the home for their secretary!  See the home in the picture, as well as the view (including the Caribbean) from her porch.

She is ecstatic and thankful to ABC members!

ABC Gospel Justice Center!

Did you know that 100,000,000 Americans can’t afford a lawyer, and one third of them will have a legal issue? We can help!

Our ABC Gospel Justice Center will open in January.  It will give you a chance to meet with an attorney for legal advice and coaching. For only $30, you can book a 45-minute appointment with an attorney to discuss your situation, explore options, and decide on “Next Steps.”

For more information, see the Administer Justice Center before and after worship this Sunday, November 9!

We would like to thank everyone for helping in Christina Galvan Dolney’s farewell services.  We appreciate your prayers, cards, and support.  ABC Church is amazing and has helped us through this difficlut time.

Is The Government Shutdown Hurting You?

If the government shutdown is hurting you financially, we want to help!  We know that some of our members work for the government and others receive SNAP funds to help with groceries.

If you are an ABC member or attender and you are impacted, we can help!  Our church maintains a Benevolence Fund to assist our members with an emergency need.  You can call the church office for help or fill out a request at www.abcaz.net/benevolence.  We can provide grocery cards or help with some bills during an emergency like this one.

Please do not hesitate to ask for help.  Helping our members is why we maintain that fund!

Winter Fresh 2026!

Our theme for this year is “Called,” and we will explore various characters in the Old and New Testament who God has called into specific roles. The goal of the weekend is to highlight how God calls every one of us into various ministries and lifestyles! Our Speaker for the Week is Alex Dennis, Pastor of Asante Church in the North Valley and a NAMB church planter CALLED out of central Texas. Our Band for this year is led by the one and only Aaron Petre of Zona Camp! We will be back at Granite Hills from January 31st to February 2nd, because they rock and accommodated us so well last year! The cost of camp per person is $150
